Sergio Romero, the Manchester United goalkeeper, is unhurt despite being involved in a car accident near the club’s training ground.
The 32-year-old took part in training at United’s Carrington base on Monday morning as normal after crashing his vehicle.
Images and video of Romero’s car emerged on social media shortly after the incident, with it crushed underneath a roadside barrier.
United’s second-choice goalkeeper was pictured standing by side of the vehicle with no apparent signs of injury.
The club later confirmed that Romero was not harmed in the accident and that he had reported for training as normal.
