Halima Abubakar, Nigerian actress and producer, was born June 12, 1985 in Kano, but a descent of Kogi state. She won the Afro Hollywood Best Actress award in 2011.
Halima started acting in 2001 when she played a minor role in “Rejected“, but her first lead role was in “Gangster Paradise“.
She is also the CEO of a Modehouse Entertainment, a music label and entertainment management company.
The actress took to her Instagram to write a piece for herself. She wrote:
