First Bank Responds To Alleged Forgery Case From White Plains British School


Following up with the forgery story posted yesterday, First Bank has responded and it seems White Plains British School might be raising false alarms as First Bank claims White Plains British School are loan Defaulters. Read their response below.

Our attention has been drawn to allegations carried on your platform with
respect to the indebtedness of Whiteplain British School to the Bank.

These allegations are not only untrue, but mischievous. We have seen a lot
of defaulters (such as Whiteplains British School) fighting back by employing
numerous tactics to evade repaying their debts.

The appeal filed by Whiteplains British School against the judgment of the
Federal High Court on its indebtedness to the Bank, is still pending before
the Court of Appeal sitting at Abuja
The matter is sub-judice and we are therefore unable to make any further
comments on it.
