Arsenal manager Unai Emery has wished Super Eagles winger Alex Iwobi good luck on his move to Premier League rivals Everton.
Globaltake News reports that Iwobi sealed a £40m to Everton on transfer deadline day.
After seeing opening bids rejected by the Gunners earlier this week, Marco Silva landed one of his primary targets ahead of the new season which kicks off tomorrow.
Iwobi will join fellow new arrivals goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, defender Djibril Sidibe, midfielders Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin, and striker Moise Kean.
The Nigeria international has been a Gunner since joining the academy 15 years ago.
He came through the ranks and made his senior debut in October 2015.
Iwobi went on to make 148 appearances, scoring 15 goals, winning one FA Cup and two FA Community Shields in the process.
“Alex has made a big contribution at Arsenal,” Emery said.
“He worked hard in the academy, where he was an example to many young players and has been an important part of our squad.
“We wish Alex every success in the future. All the best at Everton.”
