Liverpool’s Coach- Jurgen Klopp, following his side woeful start in 2017, has express worry and admitted his future is on the line. This came after his side lost woefully to a relegation-threatened Leicester City “the defending Champion” of English Barclay Premier League on Monday night. The foxes put up a spectacular display to move up from the relegation zone after their glorious coach “Claudio Ranieri” was sacked. Many fans alleged conspiracy and betrayal by the Leicester players.
The Reds’ poor form has led to speculation surrounding the German’s work at the club and he knows his position is in danger if the slump continues. Jamie Vardy grabbed a brace and a Danny Drinkwater strike was enough for the reigning Premier League champions to start life without Claudio Ranieri with a 3-1 victory at the King Power Stadium, leaving Liverpool to drop out of the top four.
The defeat was Liverpool’s fifth in seven outings in all competitions and, although they remain the only top-six side unbeaten against their title rivals so far this season, Klopp knows he and his players are playing for their futures.
“It’s getting more serious now. We all play for our future, myself included,” Klopp said following the tie against Leicester.
“We get judged every day, especially on match days. Of course performances have influence on these things.
“I feel maximum responsibility because I am the manager. I hope I use the word ‘we’ and not ‘they’ because I’m involved in this.” The German was quoted.
